Challenger One is a family of companies that supplies and services printing needs for corporations, consumers and retail stores.
This family includes JDI Technologies, which delivers complete document printing solutions for corporate America; Color Laboratories, which provides high-quality aftermarket printing products, such as inkjet cartridges and toners, thermal ribbons and specialty paper products primarily to retailers; and Challenger One, which enables consumers, small offices and home offices to purchase their printer supplies at large discounts from OEM prices through the Internet or via toll-free phone lines.
Challenger One’s primary product line is aftermarket inkjet cartridges and refill kits sold directly to consumers through the Internet. Co-founded by Hamid Tabibzadeh and Leon Hassen, the firm offers discounts of 50 percent or more off standard OEM prices, while delivering print quality comparable to that of higher-priced OEM products.
